Future Shock Nesting Boxes
2005

Archival inks on laminated board

Six individual boxes that fit into each other, largest measures 18" x 9" x 4"

Limited edition project printed with Electric Works, San Francisco, in edition of 20

 

Represented are: boombox, 8-track player, 4-track mixer/recorder, answering machine, transistor radio, and microcassette recorder/player. Each box is designed from an actual item found on Ebay and used downloaded photographs as templates.

Commissioned on the occasion of Southern Exposure Gallery's 35th anniversary celebration.
